you will either - a.) do a number of push-ups
b.) sprint as a team to the prayer tower or chapel
c.) attend the next meeting, prayer, or function earlier as a team

Team Meeting - 11/28 - check it

lots of announcements from our team meeting last night in zoppelt.
here's a quick list for your planners and to remind you of your 'homework'

11/28
  • Big Team Tonight 11/29 in Zoppelt, WEAR CHRISTMAS STUFF
  • Oru family christmas --> Friday at 7:30, meet in maybe center at 10:50am to prep
  • Last team meeting of the semester will be next wednesday same as usual - 10:30 @ security
Homework:
  • Bring Schedule for next semester on wednesday
  • Think about possible punishments/consequences to vote on for beig late/absent
  • Post on the facebook group when you would like to eat dinner as a team in saga next week
  • finish your posters if you havent already
  • Fundraisers!
  • Brainstorm some neat chairman positions - it's your team, we all will have one! (ie. snacks, etc.)
what an awesome time last night. Praise and worship (props ronnie), cake, hanging out, and the incredible time of prayer at the end all show just how tight this team is. It was cool too having us all together. Family style.

*I was truly blown away by the video you all made for my birthday. Nobody has ever done anything like that for me. THANK YOU SO MUCH

just a quick reminder that if you dont have a passport the deadline to get in the necessary forms is this wednesday. get on it tomorrow or early wednesday so you can get the receipt to the missions office before close.

its been a while

i promise we are going to start being faithful to this blogspot!
sarah and i have agreed to get on the ball and make this another solid way to see whats going on, find out whats coming up, what you may have missed, and who knows what else.

highlights from wed 11/14
  • oru family christmas fri 11/30 - help set up during chapel hour and working the water deal that night
  • keep thinking of fundraising ideas - we will be calling on you after the break
  • if you didnt get your poster finished...theres no better time than now...
  • passport applications are DUE by wed 11/28 - get on it!!!

this team is seriously the top notch crowd of oru and the missions program. we couldnt be mored siked about who is hanging out and rollin to kenya with us. i speak for sarah and i both when i say we love you all. keep it up and dont forget about the main man - hes our daily bread and sustenance, lets feast.

Shout out: Hey guys! I'm super stoked for this team! I have been praying for you and I know God is getting ready to rock our lives as we have the opportunity to impact each other and Kenya! I am looking forward to our team emerging as a family.I also look forward to the different qualities that you guys will bring to the team. This year we're all going to learn from each other.You are truly valued by God and us (and when I say us I mean me and your STELLAR ATL Mitch). So get ready to have an adventurous year. A Few Words: Yo guys, lets just say I am one of the luckiest guys around. I couldn't be more down to go to Kenya with such an amazing team.
